Deborah A. Knuppenburg
Apr 20, 2018Knuppenburg, 59, of Union Springs, passed away on April 17, 2018. She was the daughter of the late James and Myrtie Morris Kelland.Debbie worked for Nucor Steel in the human resources department for many years and most recently at Herrtronics Inc. of Auburn as the office scheduler. She was a communicate of St. Michael’s Church of Union Springs. Debbie enjoyed Motown dancing, boating on Cayuga Lake, and camping at Hideaway Harbor in Union Springs every summer.She is survived by her husband, Myron James Knuppenburg, of Union Springs; sons, James Knuppenburg, of Bronx, N.Y., and Ryan Knuppenburg, of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; daughters, Chelsea Genevieve Knuppenburg, of Union Springs, Jessica Sosa, and Diana Ferris; grandchildren, Eli and Hailey-Jay Michel; sister, Linda Adams and her husband, Bruce, of Auburn; nieces, Andrea Adams and Jennifer Wiler; nephew, Bruce Adams.In addition to her parents, Deborah was predeceased by her brother, James Kelland.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Shakelton Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Union Springs. (Auburn Citizen)
